The hills that give life to our wines<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We live between plains and hills, where the first undulations of the Apennines draw a mosaic of soils and microclimates. The winery, on the first hills near the historic center of Scandiano, is surrounded by Spergola vineyards: a vine mentioned since the fifteenth century and today present almost exclusively between Scandiano and Quattro Castella<\/strong>. The particular “vein of clay” of the area gives the wines freshness and mineral imprint.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

A heritage of native grapes<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Our work protects and enhances the local ampelographic heritage: Lambrusco (Grasparossa, Maestri, Montericco and other varieties), Spergola, Malvasia di Candia Aromatica, but also Marzemino, Malbo Gentile and Pignoletto. It is on these vines that we build identity styles consistent with our land.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our vineyards, our identity<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Our vineyards are born between the rolling hills of Scandiano and Quattro Castella, custodians of an ancient history and a deep bond with the territory. Each variety from Spergola to Lambruschi, from Marzemino to Pignoletto, up to Malbo Gentile and Malvasia, tells a piece of Emilia, between unique aromas, colors and minerality. It is here that tradition meets passion, giving life to authentic and identifying wines. \n<\/p>\n\n\n

Lambrusco<\/h6>

The quintessence of our history: straightforward, pleasant and versatile wines<\/strong>, capable of surprising even in less usual combinations. An immediate language that has obtained recognition since the early ‘900 and is part of the convivial culture of Emilia.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>

Spergola<\/h6>

Spergola<\/strong> is our identity white: declined in still, sparkling, sparkling and passito versions, with nuances from straw yellow to greenish reflections and a savory tension that recalls the soils. It is the grape variety on which we have built a distinctive chapter of our method.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>

Malvasia<\/h6>

The Malvasia<\/strong> di Candia Aromatica: dry and sweet wines with an intense aroma, with a slight bitter note that makes them ideal even with traditional desserts. Vinification at low temperature with must-skin contact to enhance the aromas.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>

Marzemino<\/h6>

An ancient and refined grape variety, Marzemino finds an authentic and territorial dimension on the hills of Reggio Emilia.
A wine with an intense color and a subtle scent of violets, it expresses an elegant and harmonious personality<\/strong>, with gentle tannins and a mineral vein that tells the chalky soils from which it is born.
In the more structured versions, it reveals all the depth and longevity of the great Emilian reds of the hills.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>

Malbo Gentile<\/h6>

A rare and precious native, Malbo Gentile<\/strong> is a red with an intense and velvety profile, which combines softness and strength.
The nose opens with hints of red fruits and sweet spices, on the palate it conquers for warmth and structure, always maintaining a refined elegance.
It is the wine that celebrates the depth and richness of our land, with a character that remains true to its origins.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div><\/div>
