Getting to know the territory
The hills that give life to our wines
We live between plains and hills, where the first undulations of the Apennines draw a mosaic of soils and microclimates. The winery, on the first hills near the historic center of Scandiano, is surrounded by Spergola vineyards: a vine mentioned since the fifteenth century and today present almost exclusively between Scandiano and Quattro Castella. The particular “vein of clay” of the area gives the wines freshness and mineral imprint.
A heritage of native grapes
Our work protects and enhances the local ampelographic heritage: Lambrusco (Grasparossa, Maestri, Montericco and other varieties), Spergola, Malvasia di Candia Aromatica, but also Marzemino, Malbo Gentile and Pignoletto. It is on these vines that we build identity styles consistent with our land.

Our vineyards, our identity
Our vineyards are born between the rolling hills of Scandiano and Quattro Castella, custodians of an ancient history and a deep bond with the territory. Each variety from Spergola to Lambruschi, from Marzemino to Pignoletto, up to Malbo Gentile and Malvasia, tells a piece of Emilia, between unique aromas, colors and minerality. It is here that tradition meets passion, giving life to authentic and identifying wines.
